Do I need a real estate lawyer as well?
It depends on your personal comfort level and the purpose for which you are buying the property. For example if you are buying property as an investment for Turkish Citizenship, we will recommend you also engage a lawyer, and if you so wish, we can refer you to an experienced lawyer. In normal process of sale and purchase with Best Point as your agent you generally do not require a lawyer as we do a thorough review of each property and its documentation etc., and handhold the client till the very end of the process.
How will you find potential buyers/renters for my property?
Our wide network of potential buyers, investors and renters make us ideally positioned to match the sellers with buyers and landlords with the tenants. We are also widely networked and present in most of the leading real estate aggregator portals. We are well connected with our fellow peers in the industry too, which gives access to a huge pool of potential buyers and renters.
What percentage of the final property sale price do you charge? And what is fees for renting a property?
Our commission is as per the Turkish laws applicable in this regard and as per the industry standard, which is set at 2% of the sale price. There are no hidden fees, other than all incidental expenses which are normally incurred for the registration of the property in client's name at the Tapu office.
For rentals, the tenant is charged one month rent as per the rules and established practice of the rental real estate market in Turkey.
